Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are relatively stable at room temperature for short periods, but repeated heat exposure during shipping accelerates degradation — particularly for larger, more complex peptides. The risk isn't a single hot day in transit; it's cumulative heat exposure across a shipment that sits in a warm truck, a hot loading dock, or a mailbox for days.
